テチュンによって作曲された８曲のセムシェーアルバムのためのオリジナル曲は、北アメリカとネパールの子供たちと共にレコーディングできる見込みです。

レコーディングには特に正規のチベット楽器を用います。ダムニェン（６弦のリュート／チベット三味線）、ピーワン（２弦のフィードル／弓）、リンブー（竹製フルート）などを使用します。
全体的にはグローバルな現代を意識し、西洋楽器や打楽器を合わせた構成となる予定です。

また、このアルバムはチベット文化教育に取り組む家庭の手助けとなり、教育指導者にとっても学校でチベット語を教える際、効果的な教材となるでしょう。

西洋社会においては、チベット文化や仏教の興味が増すにつれて、チベット人でなくてもチベット文化や言語に興味を持つようになってきています。彼らもまた、このCDを用いて知識を得ることが可能です。
全曲は授業が行えるよう英語に翻訳し、さまざまな文化圏の人々でも理解できるストーリー展開を考えて作ってあります。

セムシェーソングのテーマ

初歩の基礎的なチベット語と仏教についての歌となります。

時代に左右されない普遍的なクオリティを

過去10年間を振り返ると、チベット亡命社会において楽曲のレコーディング数は著しく増えました。しかし才能あるアーティストですら、チベット難民がリリースしたものは資金不足が目立ち、専門的なクオリティに値する物はめったにありません。
資金不足の問題は、チベット音楽の芸術保全において深刻なものとなっています。

セムシェーCDは時代に左右されない高いクオリティを持つことが必要です。
テチュン（タシ・シャズール）と高い技術を持った人々、なおかつ歴史や目的、効果、このプロジェクトの重要性に理解を示す人々との協力は欠かせないものとなるでしょう。

The eight original songs composed by Tashi for the Semshae album are ready to be recorded with the assistance of Tibetan children singers in North America and Nepal. This album will feature authentic Tibetan musical instruments such as the Damnyen (six-stringed plucked lute), Piwang (two-stringed bowed fiddle), and Lingbu (bamboo flute). The compositions will be mixed with Western instruments and percussion to create a contemporary global sound. This album will be useful to Tibetan parents committed to teaching their children about Tibetan culture and to educators who can use the music in Tibetan schools to teach the Tibetan language.
The primary themes of the songs are influenced by Tibetan and Buddhist culture, such as:


• Colors of Tibetan prayer flags
• Days of the week
• Names of musical instruments
• Tibetan alphabet and numbers
• Daily activities at home and in the temple
• Names of animals, fish, birds and flowers
• Traditional Tibetan children’s stories
As interest in Buddhism and Tibetan culture increases in the West, non-Tibetans interested in culture, religion, language, etc. will also benefit from Semshae’s unique CD. All of the songs on this album will be translated into English to make the lessons and stories accessible to people from all cultures.

In the past ten years, the number of Tibetan recordings released in exile has significantly increased. Although created by talented artists, often recordings released by exiled Tibetans lack adequate funding and rarely possess the professional quality they deserve. This has hindered and even jeopardized the artistic integrity of Tibetan music. For this reason, in order for Semshae to create a timeless, high-quality album, it is imperative that Tashi Sharzur be able to collaborate with highly skilled individuals who understand the history, purpose, impact, and significance of this unique effort.

━━━セムシェーソングの波及プラン

• タシ・シャズール（テチュン）はCDアルバム制作後、コンサートツアーと実践ワークショップの開催を構想しています。ネパール、インドに始まり、北アメリカへと回るツアーを計画中です。
• ツアーでは子供たちのためのワークショップに４日間を費やし、テチュンと子供たちのパフォーマンスステージを最後に行います。

━━━ツアー／ワークショップ内容

• ・グループやソロで歌いながら、セムシェーの歌詞を学ぶ
• ・歌のテーマにあわせて、行為の意味を理解する
• ・チベットのアルファベットの書き方を学ぶ
• ・カードを使って楽器を覚えたり、描いたりする
• ・スペシャルコンサート（地方のチベット人、またはチベット人以外の地域でも）を行う

━━━チベットコミュニティへの支援

• チベットコミュニティがプロデュースを行う場合、コンサート／ワークショップの収益はコミュニティの初等教育プログラムへ寄付します。
• ツアー中のアルバムCD収益はすべて、次のDVD制作（初歩教育のための）の資金とします。

・音楽を用いて、チベットの言葉と慈悲の文化を維持できるよう、
　実践可能な道を築く。


・次世代を担うチベット文化圏の若き世代たちへ、
　チベットの文化と誇りを継承する。


・全世界へ向けて、
　チベット言語と文化保護についての必要性を提議する。

セムシェープロジェクトの運営は寄付、支援金から100％成り立っています。
目下、世界中の支援者から専門的な知識や時間を頂きながら、進行中です。

全てのプログラムを完成させるには、およそ70,000ドル（約700万）必要だと換算されています。

2008年-2011年の活動は、皆様のご協力と支援金によって、レコーディング、アルバムCD制作、アルバムCD出版と配布、プロジェクトの基盤（広報、国際間の協力者との連携）を実行に移すことができました。
2012年以降は、次なるプログラム（DVD制作、CDフォローアップ、チベット音楽教材制作など）の資金源を確保する必要があります。
