Go to Ishimaki again with wheel cheer
This early morning, we left Tokyo to Ishimaki again with 20 wheel chairs, rescue boxes, medical oxygen bottles and some office supplies.
we toward to Ishimaki high school, Ishimaki junior high school,Kadowaki junior high school and Minato elementary school.
We will join again to other Volunteer group which already had the base in Ishimaki Senshu University. They have enough supplies but do not have the gas to deliver these supplies to the victims, therefore we offered our car and helped to deliver these with the things which we brought. The base has nothing to organize, even desk!
Not only because of radiation but we saw many dead body, we were exhausted, it was quite difficult for us to decide to go there again so soon.
However we believe that wheel chair can help the old people there and oxygen can save another life.We truly appreciated your cooperation.
arigato!!

Complementary Information
The rescue team entered into Miyagi on a helicopter. All the 16 members are skilled with emergency rescue.
Current situation of the devastated area: Very dangerous and difficult to work. The rescue team is risking their life to help victims. Please pray for them and send your love to them.
What is running out: The priority is sleeping bags. Blankets are already provided but it is not enough to sleep warm. So they want to provide 200 sets of sleeping bags. It costs 5000 yen each, so we need one million yen in total.
This is the first step rescue activity. They are planning to distribute food (preservable, rich in nutrition, easy to eat and light to deliver) at the next step.

Emergency Assistant from Touch in Peace
We dispatched a rafting team consisting of 16 trained rescue workers to the most devastated area such as Kusennuma area.
They got 200 sets of sleeping bags because we heard that victims in a shelter use only blankets.
Let’s work together and do what we can do.
